   Our Mission

Project SAFER strives to enhance public safety at special events in the County of Ventura. By assessing special events, we are able to identify issues of public health and safety as well as identify if alcohol service is consistently administered within the laws and guidelines established by State and local authorities.

Project SAFER works closely with event organizers and local law enforcement to assist in creating policies to reduce alcohol-related violence, injury, vehicle crashes, unlawful alcohol service, and youth access to alcohol.
